We spent the morning learning more about green building practices and how to share this information with our clients. There are so many exciting programs out there to help us update our homes and even get money back in return. Stay tuned and we will post about these programs in the upcoming weeks.
While downtown we grabbed lattes at Starbucks in Pioneer Courthouse Square and waited in the rain along with other Oregonians eager to get this Christmas season into gear. The square was full of the holiday spirit. There were carolers singing and cocoa for everyone. A little after noon the Portland Motorcycle Police officers along with Santa (riding in a Prius), escorted the giant tree into the square. This year’s tree came from sustainable forest land outside of Gaston. Globe Lighting has been generous enough to donate LED lighting for the tree. These lights use 91% less energy than traditional lights and will last 50% longer. The official tree lighting will be Nov. 27th.

We are finally up and running. We have been working hard to put a real estate website together that is informative and interesting. We are still in the building stage so please come back often to see all of our updates. We are new to blogging as well so please leave any feedback negative or POSITIVE! We are very knowledgeable about the local markets and would love to share our resources with you. Kim is the proud mom of two great kids, a daughter starting her freshman year in college and a son who’s a typical middle school boy. Cassie has been blessed with two wonderful daughters. They both attend school in Sherwood. As we navigate through the balancing act of being full time Real Estate Brokers and also being SUPER moms, we will also be sharing our real life struggles and achievements through our blog.
